Privacy Policy

Data we collect

• Account: your email address (for login and billing).
• Usage: the domains you check and timestamps, to meter and secure the service.
• Payment: handled by Stripe — we store a Stripe customer / subscription reference, not card details.

Your API queries are never published

The domains you check through the API are used only to meter, bill, and secure your account. They are never listed on our public domain pages, never included in our sitemap, and never disclosed to anyone else. The public pages on this site only ever show domains that were checked through the keyless public demo — never a customer's.

How we use it

To provide the API, enforce quotas, prevent abuse, and bill your plan.

Sharing

We share data only with the processors required to run the service (e.g. Stripe for payments, our email provider for verification). We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You may request access to or deletion of your account data by emailing info@domainresearchapi.com, or via our contact page.

Retention

The check itself is short-lived. The result of a domain check — the domain and its status — is deleted automatically within 3 days, whether it came from the API or the public demo. We do not build a long-term history of what you looked up.

Account data is kept while your account is active. Billing records (the domain, the timestamp, and the account it belongs to) are kept for as long as we need them to bill you correctly, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse — and no longer. To request deletion, see Your rights above.
