Before you buy
Is there a free tier or a trial?
No. API access needs an active plan. You can check any domain for free — no key, no signup — with the demo on the homepage, up to 100 checks a day. It runs the same check the API runs, so you can see the real answer before you pay for anything.
What happens if I hit my monthly quota?
Calls return 402 with error: "quota_exceeded" until you upgrade or the quota resets on the 1st. There is no automatic overage — you will never get a surprise bill, but the calls do stop. Every successful response carries X-Quota-Remaining, so watch it and upgrade before you run out.
What counts as a check?
One delivered status = one unit. developed, parked, for_sale and available are answers, so they are billed. unreachable is a non-answer and is not billed; neither are errors, rate limits, or timeouts.
How fast can I actually spend a plan?
There is no batch endpoint — one call per domain, up to 60/min per account with 4 checks in flight at once. If you plan to burn a large plan through a nightly job, size the job to that. The limits are per account, not per key.
Can I cancel or change plan?
Yes, any time, from the billing portal in your dashboard — no email required. Quotas reset each calendar month. If your plan was set up manually, contact us and we'll make the change.
